What you need to know when submitting print ready artwork
Should you choose not to take advantage of our award-winning design team's assistance in creating a "stellar" design for your business and you want to submit your own artwork for printing, you must submit your design in the following format & specifications to ensure it's quality and print-ready status.
SET ALL IMAGES AT:
CMYK AND 300DPI
Optimize your files for printing!
  • Adobe Illustrator (.ai) - Remember to "create outlines" on your file prior to sending it to us. By doing this, you will eliminated any possibility of font conflict. To execute this function: type>unlock all, ctrl A (or select all), edit>create outlines.
  • Corel Draw (.cdr) - Remember to "convert to curves" on your file prior to sending it to us. By doing this, you will eliminated any possibility of font conflict. To execute this function: edit>select all>text, arrange>convert to curves. (Turn on Simulate Complex Filled Curves)
  • Adobe Pagemaker - Create as a PDF file (prepared for print).
  • Quark Xpress (.qxd) - Send all fonts used for your project, save as an .eps or create a PDF file (prepared for print).
  • Adobe Photoshop (.psd) - "Save As" the following file types: .TIFF .EPS .JPEG .PSD. All scans or bitmap images should be at least 300 PPI. Black and white bitmap, 600-1200 dpi.
  • Microsoft Publisher (.pub) - DO NOT use Publisher Clip Art Photos or Illustrations. Use Pack and Go. Note: MS Publisher is not recommended for complex jobs.
  • Microsoft Word (.doc) - Embed your fonts: tools>select options>choose Save tab>check Embed TrueType Fonts box. Note: MS Word is not recommended for complex jobs.
